During the meeting, you will learn how much the state is willing to pay for your property. At this time, you can choose to accept the state's purchase offer or make a counter offer. Additionally, the relocations benefits will also be presented and explained at this time.

Definitions

Purchase offer

A formal written offer to purchase your property.  This offer is based on the opinion of fair market value established by an independent appraiser, checked by a reviewing appraiser and approved by the state.  The purchase offer will be no more or no less than the documented value.
